12/18/2025 - Saint Helena, CA - Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) announces Schatzi Throckmorton, Owner and General Manager of Relic Wine Cellars, has been elected chair of its Board of Directors. Throckmorton's career in wine extends over 25 years, encompassing entrepreneurship, business administration and community leadership. Glenn Salva, Officer of Antinori Napa Valley, will serve as Vice Chair and Jason Lede, General Manager of Cliff Lede Vineyards, will be the Secretary/Treasurer.
“It is a particularly special honor to be elected Chair of the Napa Valley Vintners Board at such a pivotal time in our industry and community. For over eight decades, the NVV has been a leader in agricultural preservation, philanthropic giving, community collaboration as well as industry advocacy and promotion of the Napa Valley, and we have a responsibility to continue that stewardship. I’m looking forward to working with our members and the fantastic NVV staff to tackle the issues of today while building on our past efforts and accomplishments,” said Throckmorton.
Founded in 1944, NVV serves as the collective voice of its nearly 550 winery members. For more than 80 years, it has helped make Napa Valley synonymous with excellence, a distinction that strengthens its members and the region as a whole.

The NVV Board of Directors also serves as the Board of Directors for Collective Napa Valley, working alongside community representatives Giancarlo Bettinelli and Claire Stull.
