Napa Valley Vintners Announces Collective Napa Valley Philanthropy Programming for 2023

 

2/1/2023 - Saint Helena, CA - Napa Valley Vintners announces the lineup of seasonal offerings to take place in 2023 as part of Collective Napa Valley. Launched in 2022, Collective Napa Valley is an innovative, year-round philanthropy program that focuses on coming together to enjoy wine while doing good in the Napa Valley community.  

"We’re really excited about the year ahead. Our vintner community has been hard at work planning a spectacular year of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Each season we’ll raise funds for Napa Valley’s most critical needs. We’re fortunate to have so many community members and wine enthusiasts invested in making a difference, and we look forward to what’s to come,” said Andy Erickson, Chair of the Board of Directors for the Napa Valley Vintners and co-owner of Favia. 

The year’s calendar includes access to rare wines and opportunities to share experiences with vintners while learning more about Napa Valley. The three seasonal offerings will include: 

Spring, Napa Valley Reserve Wine Offering, March 

March 10-31, the Collective Napa Valley community will have exclusive access to an online collection of rare wines with the highest degree of provenance direct from Napa Valley winery cellars.

Summer, Together Again Weekend, June:  

The weekend of June 2-3 is an epicurean's delight inclusive of vintner-hosted wine events, the Napa Valley Barrel Auction - an auction of wines straight from the barrel and a new celebration for 2023 – a live auction focused on the best of Napa Valley to be held on Saturday, June 4.

Fall, Vintage Celebration, November 

Guests will experience extraordinary tastings with an array of legendary winemakers, and the opportunity to venture into some of wine country’s most beautiful vineyards.

With the growing support and engagement of participants in Collective Napa Valley, we will continue to build on our enduring investment in this community to solve its most urgent needs, “said Donna Walker, grants review committee chair for the Napa Valley Vintners and proprietor of Pulido~Walker Estate Vineyards and Winery. 

In 2022, multiple fundraising endeavors were hosted through Collective Napa Valley; $1.5 million was raised for Children’s Mental Health and more than $2 million for reforestation and wildfire resiliency. In addition, Napa Valley Vintners gave $21.6 million in 2022 in the areas of community health, mental health, family support, youth development and environmental causes.  

Joining Collective Napa Valley is free. Anyone interested in learning more about the region and coming together to enjoy wines while doing good is encouraged to join at CollectiveNapaValley.org. Participants will be the first to learn about opportunities and purchase tickets to events.
