Sailing-Inspired Napa Valley Getaway Site Launches for America's Cup Fans

 

 

6/28/2012 - St Helena, CA--SailNapaValley.com, a collaboration between the Napa Valley Destination Council, Napa Valley Vintners and the America's Cup Event Authority, launches this week to showcase Napa Valley lodging, wine and culinary offerings for fans and friends of the America's Cup. As the Official Wine Region of the 34th America's Cup, the Napa Valley has developed a variety of experiences for adventurous race fans looking to trade adrenaline for indulgence just an hour's drive from San Francisco. Access to the site is available to all fans of the America's Cup, with a private "Unrivaled Access" portal accessible only to AC Crew members, the official America's Cup fan club.

The site launch coincides with the America's Cup World Series racing in Newport, Rhode Island, which kicks off on June 28, 2012. America's Cup World Series racing continues in San Francisco from August 21-26 and October 2-7, 2012, followed next year by the Louis Vuitton Cup, America's Cup Challenger Series from July 4-September 1, the Red Bull Youth America's Cup in August/September and then the America's Cup Finals from September 7-22, 2013.

SailNapaValley.com features packages and travel experiences available during race times and throughout the year. Napa Valley Access getaway packages include items such as hotel upgrades and special wine tastings.
