Kongsgaard


	John and Maggy Kongsgaard, fifth-generation Napa natives, make small lots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, "The Judge" and "VioRous" (Viognier/Roussanne blend). Their shy-bearing vineyards and traditional, low-intervention winemaking techniques produce wines of high intensity. Production is limited to what they can make with their own hands in their cave on the eastern rim of the Napa Valley. The wines are sold primarily through an annual mailing list offering in late May of every year and to fine restaurants around the world.
