hope & grace wines represents twenty years of winemaking for Charles W. Hendricks
Many of you may not know Charles personally, but we are quite sure that you have tasted his wines…Over the past two decades Charles has consulted for many prestigious labels such as Barnett Vineyards, Regusci Winery, Bacio Divino, Viader, along with several others during the last twenty years. Charles is renowned for producing award winning Cabernet Sauvignons for his clients.
Crafting ones own wine is the dream of almost all winemakers….
hope & grace is a personal project that began with the unexpected opportunity to purchase Pinot Noir grapes from the famous Robert Talbott, Sleepy Hollow Vineyards, back in 2001. Having to move quickly to secure these extraordinary grapes, Charles needed a place to crush and store his new found fortune, and his friend Jim Regusci graciously lent a hand in getting started. Next, Charles was in search of a name and he thought of two attributes that he has in his life, his daughters, Hope & Grace Hendricks.
Today, our production has grown to 2,200 cases, and our portfolio has evolved to include all “Single Vineyard”, 100% Varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Carmenere, Chardonnay, & Pinot Noir.
