We are dedicated to the true essence and flavor of the Napa Valley. Singularly focused on the production of Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon and merlot from significant mountain and benchland vineyards, Atalon conveys the region’s terroir by blending radically different valley contours to make wines of substance and soul. Vineyards are chosen for proven quality from the districts known to grow the highest quality Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, including Oakville, Rutherford, Mount Veeder, Atlas Peak, Los Carneros and Howell Mountain.
The Atalon estate is located in Calistoga, situated at the base of Mount St. Helena and at the head of the Napa Valley, providing a powerful vantage point for winemaker Tom Peffer to explore the region’s vineyards.

Atalon has emerged on the wine scene with a provenance firmly rooted in the Napa Valley. Our wines are a comprehensive exploration of the Napa Valley appellation. Drawing fruit from selected vineyards, the wines are a composite of vineyards stretching from the rolling hills of Napa-Carneros in the south to the peaks of Howell Mountain in the north. Atalon produces two tiers of wine:
Napa Valley designated Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
These Napa Valley wines are packed with ripe, opulent fruit, gentle tannins and rich textures long associated with the Napa Valley.
Mountain Estate designated Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot
These Mountain Estate wines are focused expressions of mountain fruit - dense, powerful with ripe flavors and bold structure
Atalon Wine Club Shipments
In September, November and April of each year, we will ship members two bottles of fabulous Atalon wines that will include a mix of the following:
Our award winning Mountain Estate and vineyard designate wines
Our Napa Valley series wines
Each shipment will not exceed $120. There is no fee to join the club.

Members may cancel their membership at any time without further obligation except for wine shipped prior to Atalon Winery's receipt of notice.
