Wine lovers have long made a pilgrimage to Grgich Hills Estate since Miljenko “Mike” Grgich’s Chardonnay beat the best of France at the famed 1976 Paris Tasting and he then joined with Austin Hills to open our family owned and operated winery. Today, we farm 366 acres naturally and use our passion and art to handcraft food-friendly, balanced and elegant wines.
Nestled in the heart of Napa Valley, this iconic winery is open daily 9:30am to 4:30pm to taste our current releases and you might even meet the charming Mike Grgich. We offer barrel tasting on most Fridays from 2pm to 4pm. You can get a real feel for winemaking by stomping grapes, which is offered daily during harvest only. Learn about our sustainable winegrowing with a variety of tours and tastings—advance reservations required.
We can also customize an unforgettable experience with everything from a private tasting for your group to gourmet luncheons and dinners overlooking our vines.

Grgich Hills offers two wine clubs:
Our Pre-Release Club offers members the opportunity to purchase wines before their release to the general public at greater than normal discounts. Members also receive an invitation to a special annual party held in July of each year.
Miljenko's Cellar Club allows members to receive a quarterly two-bottle shipment of wine specially selected by Miljenko "Mike" Grgich, including limited-production wines unavailable elsewhere. Members also receive a 15% discount on all wines and invitation to our annual winter holiday party.
Premiere Napa Valley

Once a year the rarest new Napa Valley wines become available under one roof at Premiere Napa Valley. Wineries throughout the Napa Valley are given one task to participate: create a one-of-a-kind wine for this event to be purchased by one lucky bidder. This event is only open to select members of the wine trade and the successful bidder is the sole owner of this unique wine.
