Casa Nuestra, which means "our house" was established in 1979 and continues to produce only about 2,000 cases annually from the estate's organic vineyards. The Casa team of just eight people specialize in rare varietals and unique blends including Meritage (Bordeaux style blend), Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Rosado (a dry rosé), White Riesling, Late Harvest French Colombard, Two Goats Red (a Napa Valley Red Wine!), Tinto St. Helena, and Tinto Classico – both made from traditional field-blended vineyards and more recently introduced a Petite Sirah. All are award winning. They welcome visitors to the winery daily by appointment, for tasting, tours and barrel sampling. We have a comfortable picnic area bordered by our goat pen which houses our Nubian goats. They love to be fed, too! Trigger, our black lab, loves folks to throw her tennis ball. |
