	Since 1989, the growing of our Napa Valley Estate Wines reflects a determination to pursue excellence in our vineyard and in the winery, to farm with sensitivity to the environment and to celebrate life. We believe that the vineyard and the growing season define each vintage of Clark~Claudon Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. Hence, each vintage is a statement of season and the beauty of our vineyard environment. With thirty-eight years experience in the wine industry, our Clark-Claudon family also knows that great wines are produced through a combination of art, passion & science in both the vineyard & the winery. Thus, we use minimal intervention, state of the art practices to passionately create our wines. This results in wines known for their elegance, beautiful aromas, full-bodied richness, perfect balance and lingering finish. Our intent remains, to produce exceptional, Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon & Wild Iris Sauvignon Blanc that celebrates warm and playful moments, as we share that age old passion for life, great wine, family & friends.

	Tasting Room Description: We have three tasting options. The first 2 are by appointment only. We enjoy meeting our visitors at the vineyard. It is a very rural 154 acre estate with 18 planted acres. We sit on the vineyard cottage deck with our visitors to chat, taste Clark-Claudon wine and enjoy paired artisan cheese, fruit & bread. From there we walk or drive in the vineyard to learn more about where the wine is "made." The views from the top are beautiful! We can taste at the winery in a private tasting room or on the terrace overlooking the reflection pond where we make our wine. This tasting, if pre-arranged, can include a barrel tasting. We also have a tasting room in Napa; Vintners Collective on Main St. No appointment is necessary and our wines can be purchased there.
	View from Tasting Room: From the top of the vineyard the rural view is expansive. While tasting you are surrounded by a beautiful private rural setting. At the winery there is a view of the western Napa Valley mountains. Wine Education: Our tasting is personally geared towards the interest & questions of the customer. While hiking in the vineyard grape growing techniques are explained. Wine making is dicussed while tasting on the vineyard cottage deck or while visiting the winery. Food Available: artisan cheese, bread, fruit can be included for vineyard visits

This event is only open to select members of the wine trade and the successful bidder is the sole owner of this unique wine. 	Certified Napa Green Winery:
	Clark-Claudon Vineyards is certified under the Napa Green Winery Program by the Napa County Department of Environmental Management (DEM) and the Association of Bay Area Government’s (ABAG) Green Business Program and completed all the regulatory components needed for environmental sustainability. These components included developing water and energy conservation methods, preventing pollution, and reducing solid waste. In addition to developing sustainable winery practices, this program is set to become the standard for the state of California.

	Certified Napa Green Land:
	Clark-Claudon Vineyards is certified under the Napa Green Certified Land Program. Clark-Claudon Vineyards has created and implemented a customized farm plan with measured results that addressed all aspects of its property, vineyard land as well as non-farmed land, including practicing soil conservation, water conservation, stable drainage, riparian corridor enhancement, fisheries and wildlife habitat enhancement and long-term improvement and sustainability.

Certification - certification is granted by the Napa County Agricultural Commissioners Office of Pesticide Regulation, the Regional Water Quality Control board, the California Department of Fish and Game, and the National Marine Fisheries Service. The Napa Green program is supported by a wide variety of groups including the Sierra Club, the Audubon Society, and the University of California. The Napa Valley Vintners, along with Fish Friendly Farming, the Napa Valley Grapegrowers, and the Napa County Farm Bureau, developed the Napa Green program.
