NAPA VALLEY VINTNERS DONATE FUNDS FOR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL AGRICULTURE PROGRAM
4/19/1999 - The Napa Valley Vintners Board of Directors has voted to help create an Agriculture Program at St. Helena High School by pledging up to $25,000 in matching funds to the Program's building fund.
According to school administrators, a new facility is needed to house the program with building costs estimated at $390,000. Nearly $200,000 has been raised by a group of alumni of St. Helena High School to re-establish the program after nearly a 30-year absence from the curriculum.
The Association has provided information to its members on how they may participate. To receive a donation form to have your contribution matched by the Napa Valley Vintners, please phone 707/942-9775.
The Napa Valley Vintners is a professional non-profit trade organization representing 155 Napa Valley wineries in marketing and promotional activities throughout the United States and abroad. NVV maintains a website at www.napavintners.com.
