Wine Country Artists Support Napa Valley Wine Auction
Art Show & Preview at Napa Valley Museum
4/4/2002 - Yountville, CA, -- Paintings from 27 local wine country artists created specifically for the Napa Valley Wine Auction will be on display from April 13 through May 5th, 2002 at the Napa Valley Museum, located at 55 Presidents Circle in Yountville, CA. Museum visitors will have the opportunity to view the collection in the Museumıs main exhibit space, before the paintings are transported to Meadowood Napa Valley to be offered for bid at the 22nd Annual Napa Valley Wine Auction on June 8th, 2002. Museum hours are Wednesday through Monday, 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Each of the 27 local artists has been commissioned to create an original piece illuminating the Auctionıs theme ³Cirque du Vin, Revelry in the Vineyards.² The Art Program began at the Napa Valley Wine Auction in 1994 and has become a much anticipated component of the Auction.
An Auction Art Program Preview and Community Reception will be held on Friday, April 12, 2002 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Museum. To RSVP for the Auction Art Preview & Community Reception, please call 707-944-0500, ext. 100.
