Auction Napa Valley offers Napa Neighbor Discount for "Good Morning Napa" event

3/27/2006 - St Helena, CA-The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) announced today that the new Auction Napa Valley (ANV) signature event for 2006 to be known as Good Morning Napa is available as an a la carte ticket for Napa County residents at Half Price as part of the association's ever-popular Napa Neighbor program. The $50 per person ticket is available to county residents at $25 per person.

Good Morning Napa is the new morning auction event, taking place on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at COPIA, the American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts in downtown Napa. From 9am-noon, revelers will enjoy morning festivities designed to educate, entertain and enlighten. Breakfast Napa Valley will launch the day with renowned local bakeries and morning eateries providing sweet and savory foods. Then, dive into activities like cooking demonstrations by Julia's Kitchen's Chef Victor Scargle and Director of Culinary Programs Linda Carucci as they preview the menu items to be served later that night at The Party at Meadowood Napa Valley for auction attendees. Vintners will pour wines selected to showcase the various sub-appellations of the Valley in an outdoor tasting in the garden.

Auction's charity recipients will lead attendees through a variety of activities that showcase their unique programs. Napa Valley Community Housing will host a "hammer and nails" demonstration showing how beneficiaries learned to build a home, various youth service groups will provide carnival games and health care organizations will provide chair massages and be on-hand with information on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Tickets for Good Morning Napa can be purchased at napavintners.com.
