Tastings for the trade and media: These allow members of the wine trade and media to taste literally hundreds of Napa Valley wines from some of the most renowned as well as the hot, new wineries while meeting the movers and shakers behind these brands. In addition to helping retailers, wholesalers and restaurateurs plan purchases, these tastings are a great way to educate staff about what makes Napa Valley wines legendary.
Educational seminars: The character of any wine comes from the grapes that go into it, and the character of those grapes is firmly rooted in the place where they are grown. So the NVV hosts seminars and workshops for the wine trade, with vintners as presenters and panelists, to educate and illustrate the science behind the Napa Valley appellation and what makes it the most renowned winegrowing region in America.
Tastings for the Public: The NVV partners with non-profit organizations in each market to host wine-tasting fundraisers. Vintners provide the wines, and guests are able to taste wines from dozens of Napa Valley wineries, often paired with foods from local chefs, and meet the people behind the wines—all while raising money for great causes.
